Upon an assignment by the Management Team of the Inclusion, Diversity & Gender at the newly rebranded Bank of Development for Latin America & The Caribbean (formerly known as CAF – Corporación Andina de Fomento), and in collaboration with Laura Niño, lead strategist at Thought Refinery, we redefined their strategic and visual communication plan. With the idea of steeping away from the usual cliché stock images that tend to represent the Global South as a precarious and often sad place, our strategic roadmap lead us to generate a number of vibrant collages that speak in terms of ethnic-empowerement, social futures, neo-statistics, inclusive 5.0 societies; ultimately new definitions that better represent the current reality of Latin America & The Caribbean, and that are much more in tune with DiversiCAF’s fresh and positive managerial tone.
